The UCLA Women’s Softball team won the first game in extra innings in the Softball World Series last evening. Couple of things to note:
:: During the interviews with current players they referred to “The Pyramid of Success” – knowing it for memory.
:: The softball team has won 10 World Series – the same number as John Wooden won Basketball National Championships.
:: Every freshman recruit sat down with John Wooden in order to catch a glimpse of the philosophy from the man himself.
:: The former coach was a student of Wooden’s “Pyramid of Success.”
:: Every current coach was a player for UCLA in order to ensure that current players understand the importance of this philosophy.
